Thus when my buddy Wrong Wroks made the most layered (in meaning and intent, not actual fabric) hoodie on the block I just knew I had to have it. I wore it out yesterday to the McDonald’s fashion show because really does any other event really warrant a hoodie that cheeky? I have a lot of respect for the work the WR does. A lot of streetwear likes to play with ideals of celebrity, culture, and exclusion but WR does it with style and a lot of humour. Take for instance his new Fake Celebrity concept and line. The idea isn’t that sophisticated but the intent speaks volume about where we all stand in fashion today. Unlike some companies that either over intellectualize fashion or don’t put any meaning in anywhere WR just does what he does and it makes sense. Plus how can you fault a guy that put that many crystals on one hoodie by hand?”
