few days ago, at the Sotheby’s Contemporary Art Evening, Takashi Murakami, the TOP japanese pop manga contempory artist (whatever u called)  sold a manga style life-size sculpture titled “My Lonesome Cowboy” for $13,500,000 USD plus the Premium (11.0% of the bid), which is $1.6 million which it was originally estimated to be sold between $3-4 million. I have seen this piece myself last year when i was in L.A ’s MOCA museum show….its huge and i guessed that will be the last time we seen it in person coz someone gonna take it home…..

is this for real or you guys still think this is “bubble”?
